You are just another garden variety pseudo intellectual who probably characterizes himself as a progressive independent. In reality I see you are a pompous, intolerant, bigoted, elitist who, in your misplaced arrogance, disdains all who would dare question you. But yet you speak of tolerance as though you possessed it. How close am I?
"multiple valid viewpoints" What is the world are you talking about? Are you saying that your reading and research has only shown you multiple valid viewpoints. My reading and research has always been conducted objectively in a search for the truth. If all you are finding is multiple, and I suppose at times contradictory, but yet, in your mind, all valid viewpoints, please continue to read and research till you gain some knowledge of the truth.
I could say that you should open your mind to the possibility that truth exist. I could encourage you to objectively seek it with humility. I could do all this but I am afraid it would have little effect. It has been my experience that once a person has become solidly ensconced in your mindset there is no amount of reason that can free them.
