Dear New Feature Discussion participants,

Member RR privately reported an issue clicking the links on the SubjectMarks page; Windows 7, IE 9.

I logged onto BrowserStack and verified this to be the case - the links did not work.

The cause was a change made this morning that made it possible to activate and click on hyperlinks by passing over anywhere in the entire table cell, instead of only the link itself. The change had also been applied to subjects on SI's home page and some items in the Discovery Center.

Unfortunately, this change while compatible with IE>=10, FireFox, Chrome, Safari etc, was not compatible with IE9. As a result, it has been reverted. I hope to reapply when I can find a backwards compatible method of accomplishing the same.

I apologize for any problems this may have caused Members using IE9. Although the change is reverted, I would encourage anyone using IE9 to upgrade to IE11, which has considerably better HTML5 compliance. SI also looks much better newer versions of Internet Explorer.

Thanks to RR for reporting this.

Regards,

@Dima
