It's just semantics, but I would argue that Apple has an unmatched level of trust with the consumer, and it's not founded on either marketing or perceived security.


You are right. I used the word security but that isnt the right word. Overall trust or credibility fit better but I'm not sure even those quite encompass the ability of Apple to get consumers to change their behavior.

Ironically, those who attempt to demean Apple as a cult should believe most strongly in their ability to get mobile payments off the ground.
