Bullshit, Tenchu. The primary saber rattlers in this country are Republicans. They have urged us to invade Iran, Syria(although they voted military action down when Obama asked them for permission), Iraq again and the Ukraine. If Obama had followed their advice, we would be engaged across the Middle East and points north, south, east and west.

Romney repeatedly said he was willing to put boots on the ground to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions. Obama has gotten further than anyone with purely diplomatic means towards that goal.

Confronting Russia militarily does have a non-zero chance of triggering a nuclear exchange. There are those on the Right who are advocating exactly that.

So yeah, Republicans tend to be war mongers. Sadly, it is not restricted to them. Hillary is very much in favor of military intervention, for example. But every issue seems to have a military solution when it comes to the Republicans.
