I'm into Season 5 now, and you can tell it has to be winding down because some of the plot lines are absolutely ridiculous. The were definitely running out of material. What's really funny, though, is that the bad plot lines were very quickly and unceremoniously abandoned. It's almost like now-you-see-'em-now-you-don't kind of thing.
