What bullshit.

The Coast Guard begin doing what can only be thought of as heroic lifesaving -- the very day of the flood.

Unlike you and Ten, I understand fully what happened. And Bush did precisely what the federal government was supposed to have done. The problem wasn't Bush. It was Nagin (a criminal) and the Democrat governor of Louisiana, a grossly incompetent individual whose career was ended by it (only a few months after I was present for a speech she gave that was so self-laudatory people were rolling their eyes and walking out in the middle of it).

One can hardly expect the federal government to fulfill its own responsibility plus that of the first responders, too.

Bush's leadership during Katrina was astoundingly good under the circumstances.

Of course, there is no point discussing it with you because, idiot that you are, you thought FEMA was supposed to be a "first responder."
