DynaCERT (DYA-V) Sept 4, '14 refines HydraGen, begins commercial production

technologymarketwatch.com

DynaCERT Inc. has made final product enhancements and refinements to its next-generation HydraGen flagship fuel-saving and carbon emission reduction system, in addition to commencing commercial manufacturing and production of the HydraGen. In addition, the company is pleased to provide additional updates regarding testing and marketing development. Product enhancement

The final HydraGen unit is a smaller, lighter and fully computerized unit that will include the company's new patent-pending HydraGen electronic control unit (H-ECU), which is housed inside the HydraGen, along with an in-cab, mounted seven-inch control monitor, which controls the new H-ECU unit. The tablet is complete with Wi-Fi, GPS (global positioning system) and cellular capabilities. With the incorporation of the H-ECU and the tablet, users will now be able to enjoy the following additional features with respect to the operation and monitoring of the HydraGen unit:

  • Home screen that powers the unit on;
  • Distilled water levels with a reminder when the water supply is running low and needs filling;
  • Power indicator;
  • Ambient temperature to turn on a circulating fan at set temperatures;
  • Reactor core temperatures;
  • Electrolyte levels;
  • DC volts and amps used by the unit;
  • Oxygen and hydrogen level sensors within the unit;
  • Automatic fill capabilities sent to the pump-operated reservoir;
  • Automatic shutdown and warning if servicing is required;
  • Toxicity emissions indicating reductions to the carbon footprint for future carbon credits;
  • Fuel usage/savings;
  • Reprogramming of hydrogen and oxygen injection ratios and quantities automatically as conditions change, interacting with truck cab;
  • Remote access to monitor performance or make minor adjustments of the HydraGen system by DynaCERT and end-user.

Manufacturing

With these final refinements being incorporated into the HydraGen unit, the company has proceeded to establish a fully staffed 10,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in which commercial production and assembly of the HydraGen have commenced. It is expected that this new facility will provide sufficient manufacturing capacity for the near term, with expansion capacity as required.

TTSI testing and data-sharing agreements

As announced in the company's press releases dated April 15, 2014, and June 20, 2014, the corporation has provided and assisted in the installation of a HydraGen unit on a 2003 Peterbuilt Class 8 truck through Total Transportation Services Inc. (TTSI), headquartered in Rancho Dominguez, Calif. TTSI is continuing to await a schedule for testing of the HydraGen by an accredited third party testing facility for emissions, but in the meantime has continued to operate the HydraGen unit on its truck. The unit is installed on a truck that makes consistent daily deliveries and is driven by the same driver each day. TTSI continues to express its satisfaction with the fuel savings results that it has experienced to date.

Marketing, sales and brand development

The company is very pleased to welcome Michael Elwood on board as head of marketing, sales and brand development. Mr. Elwood brings a wealth of over 30 years of experience and knowledge in new product launching and development. He currently holds a number of other positions, from board seats to active consulting with commercial businesses and with the Institute for Electrification at McMaster University.
