Ca has major problems with the ACA. My sister's friend is a cop in Central Cal. The city he works for is so broke the health care is an additional expense to the employee(even a cop). He elected to buy ACA coverage. His new baby was born with Valley fever and required a 60 mile medi-vac by chopper($49,000 just for the ride) to Santa Barbara. 2.5 months in pediatric IC ward, continued 2-3 times/week visits to specialists….all leading to a tab in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

However, despite paying his premium every month, Ca ACA network keeps telling him they have no record of him making a payment. Now his child's medical care is in jeopardy.

Take a twisted system and insert the worst type of gov't bureaucracy in the middle and that is the ACA.
