Rab C Nesbitt is played by Actor Gregor Fisher. In real life he is very different from the character he plays. He believes in hard work and making a good living.

"Rab C Nesbitt, Govan's philosopher (or rather the actor Gregor Fisher), was asked last week what he thought about Scottish independence. "I think in this day and age we should be all coming together, not splitting up," he told the newspaper Metro"

My point would be we used to be a successful partnership. So was the Roman Empire at one point. These day all everyone thinks about is offshoring jobs, killing off the middle class, and borrowing more money. That way we all become unemployed drunken Rab C Nesbitts dependent on government dole money. However the English versions wont have quaint Scottish accents or be philosophers from Govern. The English version of Marydoll wont be up to much either.

That's the current prospects as I see it.

So I think we gamble, vote for Independence, and go for something completely different. The wake up call might help England too, who knows.
