Pulling out phone vs credit card (singular) may not be much of an added convenience, but pulling out a phone vs a stack of credit cards and coupons and then having to determine which ones to use is. That's why the key is not just how the payments are authorized, but what they provide. Any NFC enabled watch could be linked to an app that juggles all this for you. Competition will be furious... many more giveaways to the consumer to come. Probably little money in it for the players who enter any time soon.
