But somehow it has turned into an issue.

I don't get it. It is obviously something that hampers readability, especially on smaller screens. And obviously most people don't like it. Are they trying to drive people away from using the site so that they can eventually declare a tax loss or something?

There is a lot of history on this site. And the interface is generally good. I hope they keep it alive. But it sure seems like they are trying to damage the site instead of building it up.
