You can program a smart card to "carry" all of your cards and switch to whichever one you want to use.Walla Cardtechnologyreview.comwalla.byCoin Carddailyfinance.com
Stock Puppy - Great post, and very glad you mentioned these. I said there were no services I knew of because I thought Psylent was asking if there were mobile payment platforms that already use NFC or other wireless tech to automatically select *and* pay for you. Walla and Coin do not; they just consolidate the cards onto one card/device/app but don't actually complete wireless transactions for you. You must still swipe. However, they do precisely what I was explaining is the core benefit behind a product that Apple or someone else could release... it could not only choose the optimal card, but actually allow you to make the transaction using your phone/watch/etc wireless device as well. And what's more, a really good platform could also integrate coupons and other types of savings in an automatic fashion.

If Apple doesn't release something like this, someone will... it is all but inevitable. If Apple releases something that tries to do this but falls short by forcing the user to forgo optimal awards, then I think it will struggle to gain wide acceptance versus other options that do.
