Your reference to "retro" made me think of "retro rockets".

Definition: a small auxiliary rocket on a spacecraft or missile, fired in the direction of travel to slow the craft down, for example, when landing on the surface of a planet.

There are soooo many opportunities to use that definition in reference to SI.

Slow growth, crashing to earth, etc.

I'll leave it up to your fertile imagination to dream up your own scenarios.

And, just to prove they haven't fixed the performance problem[S] yet ... I have another tab open where an SI display is STILL running ... and was running long before I started this post while I caught up on some happenings on other threads.

Hey, Dmitry ... you really should dig into that list of JavaScript errors to see if they could be contributing to the performance issues. You know the ones I'm talking about, right? Yeah, sure you do. I posted them on the "Welcome New SI Members" thread. That's ONE of the threads you banned me from. You remember that, right? Sure you do. That's one of the THREE bans in my entire posting career on multiple forums, and you were the person who banned me all 3 times. What a coincidence!

Speaking of banning ...

Golly, there sure are a lot of cool quotes that deal with censorship. Good stuff to think about.

Sure is a pretty day.
