<<I'm not to only person using the 5% in my arsenal of cards to yield a few thousand dollars per year of easy return.>>

My arsenal is purposefully very small, and will stay that way. The only card I have that gives me benefits is an airline card - well, that is not true, I also have an AMEX but use it very little. The airline card gives me double miles on ticket purchases and I get free checked luggage - the luggage thing saves more than the fee, so I figure I am ahead on that.

Like I said before, I live in a country that is pretty much as cash economy. I am good with that. I do know people who manage and manipulate their credit cards to their advantage, but I prefer a far simpler life.
