Yes INVN gives guidance, but as I said in prior post these are estimates from Morgan Stanley. Most analysts do their own models while using company guidance in order to derive a full set of model financial stmts and understand the operating parameters of the company that impact the financials.

I basically no little about SIMO so can't comment on any comparisons. What I can tell you is that 2014 was a less than stellar year for INVN. 2015 is forecasted to be a good rebound in both revs and actual income. But overall you will notice that the high multiples in current stock price already have this completely factored in
