Hi Ray, Your 30-day IRS wash rule would only apply if you purchased the identical call. Example, (Nov. XYZ 30 sold at lost) and (Dec. XYZ 30 sold) that would be a no no! There is a forum on SI dealing with tax issues. Subject 17266
