You mistook me for some other malcontent <smile>. Any chatter about AOL (as long as some of it's derogatory) is entertaining to me. I don't care if somebody posts something I don't want to read. I just skip it if that's that case.

Enjoy. James is preaching to the choir on shorting with stops -- i've done it a few times with no good results. On shorting without being hedged: depends on one's tolerance to have a position go against you and your time horizon. Shorting AOL in the eighties with a "mental stop" carries less risk than going long some of the better known tech stocks right now, IMO.
