Not to be rude but that's NONSENSE.

I own a Mac for multiple reasons.

Better SECURITY.

Better usability.

Better quality of materials. (Same reason I bought a Visio M series TV/milled aluminum with which I'm very happy. Competing Sony etc TVs just had shit plastic bases.)
I could care less about the name/logo. I can also boot to windows on my Mac... but over the three years I've owned my Mac I've never found a reason. I would certainly NEVER do commerce or banking booted to windows.
