Easy: depends on whether you are going to make money from this point on. The $1B is already sunk into it - can't recover regardless of what you choose, so you have to forget about it. Remember that "ship movie" with k. costner? They kept going because they had lost so much money already and threw more into the pile instead of cutting their losses - too much ego i guess.

When will their decision be expected? Should give a good indication on spending - then we'll know who's right. Long CYMI with puts for a hedge.
