Reports from Urban Institute and RWJ and Commonwealth are not worth the paper they're printed on. They have no basis in fact; they're merely propaganda pieces.

Those of us who have followed these developments closely are aware of this.

One has to measure it from pre-Obamacare to now, or whenever. Because Obamacare caused many people who had great insurance to lose it. You can't just arbitrarily start counting different components when it is convenient for you.

Besides, 5.4 Million would STILL be under 2% improvement even if you didn't count those who ended up with worse insurance or who did have insurance but lost it under Obamacare.

Some people were helped by the program at taxpayer expense and by having their health care subsidized by younger people (see: Bentway). But for most people the harm far outweighs the good, which is the ultimate sign of lousy law.
