Ginn, I think you have some misuderstanding about where EFII gets its revenue from. First, the vast bulk of it comes from sales of external controllers that go along with mid-range color copier/printers. These copiers sell for $15,000+ generally with the controller adding another $10-15K. This has nothing to do with the low-end color laser printer market such as the Minolta printer you were talking about. Those devices(HP, Lexmark, Minolta, etc.) have embedded controllers, that don't have the kind of capabilities that Fiery controllers do and don't cost anywhere nearly as much. EFII is only a minor player in this area.

Also, virtually all the Xerox color products are made in Japan by Fuji-Xerox so there is no advantage to Canon, etc. from the currency fluctuations...
