Mark - if logic is used, the play should go south a bit to stay warm, cause its more expensive and difficult to operate up there in the winter, keeping water lines to the drills from freezing, helicopters running, etc, etc.
On the other hand, there may be some more assay results soon from all the drilling they have done, and even more results from the latest 15 meter hole and deeper in the 22% metals hole.
At least we should get some sort of an overall update in the new year and if nothing early, it should come out just before the PDAC convention in March.
I doubt if these stocks will stay up without news, and some of them will be eligible for tax loss selling because of their volatility recently.
Teck's other jv project with Western Copper really had that stock hopping today, so hard to say whats next with these exploration companies.
Just when you think they have settled down for a bit, suddenly they all get active again. What does look a bit more promising is that there seems to be a few more positive things happening with the price of gold, so unless there is some more screwups, gold may be on the rise and should help the whole junior resource sector. |
