I think it's been covered on this thread already that they intend to start using a pay news service in January.

I wish they'd already been using one or were currently using one, but getting pissed about it now doesn't seem to make much sense, Pagan. Wasn't that long ago there was no way on earth they were going to ever pay BusinessWire's "extortion". Now they've decided they will. I'm happy with that, as it's MUCH better than where we stood a month ago on this issue.

As for your "put up or SHUT UP", don't you think that's a bit uncalled for? I don't recall anyone on the thread saying this one's going to take off *tomorrow*. The investors among us seem quite content with a much longer time-frame. It tends to be traders who are unable to see past this week....

I certainly would hate to see them go to the other extreme, as I've seen with ADGI, where it's considered newsworthy if the CEO breaks wind after a burrito lunch. Look what little effect news has on ADGI's price now.

Today's press release is one of those I wouldn't want to see posted through BusinessWire. It's nothing more than the company letting us know of a significant item on the burner. Not terribly newsworthy, although it's quite meaningful to us long-termers. It was just something they wanted shareholders to know about, and couldn't legally (I'm assuming) just tell those of us who currently own shares.

And as far as this company caring or not caring about investors, you can bet they do care, as the CEO holds about half the outstanding shares. At the very least, they care about the *long-term* value of his shares. It does appear to me they don't give a damn about the quick in-and-out traders, which suits me fine.

Like it or not, today's share price is very far down on the list of this company's priorities. It's also pretty far down my own list....

If they're not putting news out through a pay service by the end of January (I think it'll be much sooner) or have no significant news by then, or are not trading over 5 cents a share by then, I could see you getting upset. For now, though, it'd be best to just take it easy.
