None of this is new re Saudi re the extent they will act. Excepting now the rulers are concerned they could toppled. I read a very good article re such not long ago.

Many forget their actions of the past. They did permit us to use their bases but after Kuwait/Iraq 1 they took heat from within and then asked us to move the majority and that's how Qtar became the headquarters. One of the reasons ol OSAMA gained recognition was because how the Saudi's did aid and allow us to use their bases as well as bring in female solders etc.

They also did have feet on the ground but in a limited area as well as providing money.

However as time has passed they backed off more and tried to stay out of the game with the exception of providing money, helping with discussions between the brothers yet backing off re providing boots etc. And the reason is they fear being thrown out.

In the big picture they are actually friendly to the USA.. Probably more so then OL TURKEY

Speaking of Turkey: Nothing is new re Turkey.

Many forget they denied us use back in 2001 and in fact their parlimant sp? voted against us causing General Tommy Franks to alter his plan.

And many forget our good buds France refused us rights to fly over causing the pilots to take longer routes

What is new.. is unlike times of past there are some 53% who still buy into the can't we all get along, continue to try to make excuses and while they do cause the nation to be a higher risk than back in 1991 etc. Many of these fools will not get it until it's their head at risk or their child harmed.

And that's why.. I'm in the bunker..

Need to stock up on my chocolates.
