Exploiting the short-haul market should be FIBR's number one priority in networking. Butting heads with the powers in the long-hual segment, at this point and time, would be FIBR's death knoll, IMO. Resources would be diluted, focus would be loss, etc. Osicom's chances of building this company back up is in dominating these underserved areas with products such as the Gigamux and IQX-200.

Later on, after dominating those areas and maybe getting some help from a friendly alliance or investor (Lucent?), would the long-haul market be targeted. Sales mean nothing without profits.
