Okay, Asymmetric, it's about two years later for BGFV, and this sporting goods retailer has come down in price to where I'll start to buy. Big Five profitable every year past ten; now sells for relatively low p/sales, low p/stated bv, relatively low p/e, okay (in my view) d/e. Profit margins now not so good compared to past years.

Fwiw, in sporting-goods retail sector, I am holding DKS (Dick's), Cabela's at breakeven (I like the hunting/fishing/camping focus), and HIBB (Hibbett Sports), a losing position. I like Hibb's specialized focus/involvement in small communities. |
