Margharet, Read the following rapport from the Lehman Brothers lehman.com Here are the things I know further (mostly from Dutch Press agencies). a) Hyundai will (almost certainly) delay there orders for a plant in Scotland. b) ASML is talking with amongst others with Motorola and IBM in relation to the delayed orders from Hyundai (Motorola is interested however they have a very serious contract with Cannon (some sort of barter deal with several products)). c) The small part of the Samsung deal (about which one announced two weeks ago that it was delayed for three months) will probably not be delayed after all. Samsung visited ASML last week in this respect. (As said by Lehman brothers the problem will probaby not be the DUV steppers (they can probably sell these to others). With the I-line the problems will probably be bigger. Joost
