Yes Moses...(scuse freudian ) slip, Thutmose did start young and lived well into his 50s with Egypt in a very strong space economically, large harvests, mature society with 1000yrs of developed technologies now. We see this one king become a superstar embodiment for them, more than many other king before that just maintained a status quo, Thutmose completely energized them & we there starts a big sea change with them becoming a great International power.

It was the intention of spreading the high Egyptian culture as you see with taking enemy royal captive sons treating them with respect, educating them in their schools, then to return them home with Egyptian leanings & sympathy. I don't how people miss this that far back in 1500BC, this spreading far up into the Levant, far up past Jerusalem all these cultural influences that would certainly include their wisdom, cosmology, religion. Then maintianing large outposts in Gaza which was one of the most lush, productive & strategically located coastal city/region state in the Levant.

And his auntie before him with the trip to Punt, this was a nation totally alive & energized on full throttle, some accounts have Thutmose going all the way up over to Turkey, Euphrates to Babylon taking scores of cities. That influence & footprint left there is something very hard to dismiss, like how little people think of Judah, Syria & Egypt changing post Alexander & the Hellenes, the effects were massive culturally & lasting in so many forms that would have changed the lives of everyone.

And the beauty is now that we can translate, we have jus so many records right there staring back at us, in big relief.
