Its not that, just that one story really doesn't jive with the archaeological record & timelines that we've assembled (or can ever find any evidence of)...some were offended when discovering our earth wasnt the center of the universe to, they shouldn't have been.
Its all good, but lets give the Egyptians a little more credit for setting the early templates for what follows later, they were an industrious people that didn't sacrifice children on altars but cherished & held life sacred just like you and I.
They did real well for a few 1000yrs and they passed much of it on, music, agricultural skills, art, building architecture, record keeping, boat building, aquaducting, roads, mining, metalurgy, cosmology, religion, knowledge...and earliest records we have of great military campaigns & trade. (Greeks, Romans, everyone took lessons from them & were in awe) |
