NEWS RELEASE ABOUT MACK TRUCK

Monday Dec 15 1997Mr James McCarney reports The company has successfully
completed the commercial design of its Snapshot and Smartlink systems
specifically tailored for MACK Trucks Inc of Allentown, PA. This is the
first commercial product custom engineered exclusively for an OEM such as
MACK. The system is a state of the art communications system that features
the ability to acquire vehicle diagnostic and fleet management data
remotely and in real time. The system integrates existing vehicle and fleet
management programs in a cost effective manner and is considered an
advanced information tool that will be necessary to compete in today's
global market. MACK currently produces approximately 29,000 vehicles per
year. These products and others being developed will require large scale
production, therefore, the company has entered an agreement with OTC, a
subsidiary of SPX Corp, the world's largest manufacturer of vehicle
diagnostic equipment, to manufacture all of its product requirements for
heavy duty trucks on a worldwide basis. A production run for 2,500 systems
has been commenced.
