Gottfried , Re:>>my cd rom & zip drive<<

When I installed my internal zip drive some 5 months ago it pushed my cd-rom to e: and the Zip took the d: position . No mater what I did I could not change it .

I have been experiencing my cd-rom in what sounds like a racing mode that comes and goes . So I e-mailed Mitsumi about it and they sent me their latest driver for my Mitsumi fx600, along with a test procedure , and after I put the new driver in my machine guess what .

My cd-rom took the d: position back and the Zip drive went to e: with no conflict and my cd-rom quit racing .

All my programs know where the drives are at and every thing is fine .

If any techies are reading this I would like them to comment .
