last night the boyz got together in an industrial loft belonging to one of our own
when bought the 'wong chuk hang" en.wikipedia.org loft was say ~hkd 1,000-1,200 (usd 125 - 155) psf back in ~2010
the 4,000 sft and came w/ all-in commercial kitchen (incl walk-in fridge, etc etc) costing perhaps usd 125,000 easily
the buyer was guided to the purchase by whatever i was doing w/ the real estate 'club'
now, 5 years on, the property is at HKD 6,500 (usd 838) psf
and
we the boyz occasionally gather to macro-powwow, and try to stay away from subjects that be girlz, wives, etc etc and just focus on macro-powwow as it may affect girls, wives, etc etc
the annual clsa crowd is in town (yes, 12 months went by quickly)

... and oh yes, the current construction cost in hk would be hkd 4,500 psf (excl land) and if so, hkd 6,500 psf for the loft would be under-valued, especially given the soon to be completed neighbour infrastructure projects
