Herb, astounding. My CD-ROM (6 months old) races from time to time.
I thought it was close to failing, but didn't do anything because
the seller filed chapter 11. And if it failed, a new one is less than $100, so I'm living with it. What's $100 after I've lost tens of thousands in the market.<G> The CD-ROM has no name on it, but I can probably find out. As to why this happens - I don't know.

I'm putting your post in my to-do list. Thanks!
