Spoke with John Blauman today in IR. He says that although their business is about 10% affected by Asia, they are still on track and as of right now aren't aware of any problems or slowdowns. He said that although he is trying to be cautious, the current problems in Asia may help SMTC in the end because of manufacturers (such as Compaq recently announced) relocating production facilities to take advantage of low currencies/low labor costs. He said that they may actually pick up more business in the end, but that they like everybody else are waiting to see how the short term picture shakes out. He also said that analog pricing does tend to be more sturdy than the rest of the chip market....Tek
