I walked into Best Buy at 8:30 am on Friday and they had all regular 6 models available (they had no 6 Plus' as none had been delivered). I went to the Apple Store to check out the two sizes and I preferred the 6 over the Plus. I returned to Best Buy about two hours later and picked up the 6, 128gb with no problem.

The capacity on the 128gb was 114gb so I assume the pre-loaded software was approximately 14gb. I am down to about 80gb available for my phone after all of the downloads. As an FYI, my iPhone 5 had about 30gb available left on a 64gb phone. You definitely will use up more memory on the new phones. Also, Best Buy gave me $240 for my iPhone 5, so the new phone only cost me $159 with a contract. Try getting a two-year old Android phone for $240. I could have gotten a better price selling it on the Internet, but I liked the fact that I had the cash in my pocket at the time of purchase.
