Dear Al:

Half these guys on the thread are somewhere to the left of Lenin but still to the right of DOJ. I guesss they would be happy if MSFT had to submit every new line of code to DOJ and NSCP for scrutiny and ultimate approval. It is the politics of envy !

If you go back to my earlier posts you will find that you heard today's conference call days earlier. 1. The judge overstepped his scope and the press has expanded that overstep way out of proportion.2. Every auto maker puts their own engine and now their own stereos in their cars. 3. The gov't only enjoined MSFT from forcing OEM's to take both. Actually all MSFT said to the OEM's was that you couldn't take their's out and put NSCP's in. They were right as it would have materially effected the inner workings of the OS. (The work around the judge's overstep is child's play for MSFT.)
4. The OEM's because of consumer pressure now want OS and IE.

If this decision goes any further it puts Janet Reno in the software design business.

Keep taking on the bearded one - he needs the education
