<Where I disagree with the moderates is in their not seeing how truly nuts and venal the right wing is, and how basically smart and decent the left wing is.<
According to ChinuSFO. Right Wing and Left Wing are not necessarily associated with any "political ideology". and it is "unhealthy" to associate the Left Wing and Right Wing with any given party.
Koan, noted that, in his opinion, the "Left Wing is Smart and Decent" and the "Right Wing is nuts and vernal".
I pointed out that of those in Federal positions, actually, more Democrats have been indicted on Criminal Charges than Republicans.. by a 2:3 margin.
But, as ChinuSFO points out. That would indicated that Left Wing and Right Wing are associated with a particular political party .. Again, "unhealthy" in his viewpoint.
So, we could assume that Koan actually was saying that the Republicans are basically smart, and decent, while the Democrats are nuts and venal... Again, because we don't want to create "stereotypes" or Left Wing and Right Wing
Although, it would be interesting to see if the response would have been different if the data showed the Republicans having many more indictments than Democrats. But, that is a issue of integrity, and one that only oneself can answer to themselves.
