Look, complaining about the government isn't going to push Microsoft back up to its 150 high. Facile comparisons of operating systems to cars and browsers to stereos won't push the stock back up either.

Microsoft is overvalued and is regressing towards the mean. That's probably a lot closer to 20x earnings in the long run than 50x earnings. The fact that the government won't let them take advantage of their monopoly to monopolize other segments of the market isn't going to change that.

I feel your pain in your loss of wealth from Microsoft's drop in stock price. Really, I do. But not to the extent that I support illegal activities by a company that is powerful enough to do quite well without breaking the law.

As for my education, I've been getting a good education on how to make money on a stock in trouble by selling calls in Microsoft. Their premiums are ticking away as we speak.
