WestKam Gold (WKG-V) Sept 23, '14 is pleased to announce that, pursuant to its news release dated December 31, 2013, it has completed acquisition of the additional 17% interest on its existing seven claims of the 75%-owned Bonaparte Gold Property, thereby increasing the Company's ownership position in the Property to 95.66%. These seven claims total 2,216-hectares (5,507 acres). The Bonaparte Property consists of a total of eight claims, representing 2,461-hectares (6,081 acres) and is located approximately 35 kilometres north of Kamloops, British Columbia. The property is accessible by paved and well-maintained gravel roads.
Additional 2% Interest
The Company also wishes to announce that that it has entered into a property option agreement to acquire an additional 2% interest in the claims. In order to earn the additional 2% interest, the Company must issue to the optionor 2,750,000 common shares.
The transaction is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
