The day is not over yet, so bulls not quite out of the woods... but time is quickly running out on the bears to do the damage they need to do before 9/24 +/- 2 ST cycle low window closes. Barring a dramatic reversal lower today it appears that we have the 9/24 Cycle low arrived right on time and held above both the prior cycle low and even the mid-cycle low. As long as today low holds the bullish pattern remains intact, and we would look for an eventual upside breakout to new highs as the resolution of the month long trading range.

As I mentioned yesterday the market got to extreme ST oversold conditions and extreme sentiment deterioration with only minimal price damage outside of RUT. That dynamic continues to be the bears worst enemy.

I see 2 scenarios here.

1) Crash must begin NOW. Meaning BIG drop tomorrow on extremely lopsided negative breadth (90% down day).

or

2) Alternately if 9/15 low support level holds and big decline doesn't materialize tomorrow then this would indicate a continued sideways trading range for 1-2 weeks which will then resolve to the upside and carry to new highs into 11/20 +/- 1 Zman Date.

Tomorrow is for all the marbles IMHO..."
