I don't think so. I don't think someone who previously wanted an iPhone 6 is going to buy an android now because if they bend the shit out of it it'll bend.

What they will do is avoid ABUSING their $800 phone.

That's what I do with my $20 phone. I tried putting it in my back pocket thinking the cover would protect it. I damaged the screen. Now I don't put it in my back pocket because it still works OK... and I'm trying to squeeze every penny out of my purchase.

I'm a very smart person though. Some people will try to see if their phone will bend, or get someone really strong like Hulk Hogan to test it to see if it breaks when you put hundreds of pound of force on it.
