Apple pulls iOS update after widespread reports of disabled phones: Re/code

The iOS 8.0.1 update is no longer available after multiple users earlier reported serious issues with the new
version of the operating system, one that was expected to fix a glitch with the highly anticipated HealthKit apps.

Many users on Twitter said they lost cellular signal, data service and Touch ID capability after updating to
iOS 8.0.1. However, those with the iPhone 5 said they had no issues, and both MacRumors and TechCrunch
reported that only the 6 and 6 Plus have had update problems.
