*AV*--Unless he has been replaced, the VP of Sales at Paradigm used to be a Personnel Manager at a semiconductor company I know. Mike, on the other hand, used to be an IC Process Engineer at the same company. I was in the IPO and got out a little too soon but definitely made some money. I can tell you that the graph on this company is not very good. Also, I seem to remember some very unnerving things in their original IPO Prsopectus along with soem dealings with ATML to make wafers for them. I guess if anyone is interested in this company, I would encourage a great deal of DD and information gathering. Check your info twice.

On a pleasant and sligghtly contrary note:

* SGS THOMSON MICROELECTRONICS NV said it expected a 17% annual increase in the world market for integrated circuits in consumer electronics from $28 billion in 1996. The company is aiming for a big part of this market with a new generation of chips to be
jointly developed with HITACHI LTD. of Japan. The two companies
announced earlier on Tuesday, in a news release from Tokyo, that
they had agreed to develop a 64-bit microprocessor to be called
SH-5/ST50 which will be based on Hitachi's Super H architecture.

I have a tendency to take seriously informational comments or opinions attributed to this company. I find them to be towards the conservative side and a very credible and respectable company.
