If it were I who experienced a bent phone, I would be inclined to return the phone, or at the very least, exchange it. Personally, I am inclined to believe Apple's number as a valid indicator of the extent of the problem so far. If there were 10's of thousand of incidents, Apple would not be doing themselves any favors in the long run by denying it now.

Like the iPhone 4 post antennagate, I suspect this means the iPhone 6+ will live a long an happy life and sell well over 100 million units before all is said and done.
