I have both LMT and RTN, and both been berry berry good to hold the past few years... good divvies and cap gains to boot -- can't complain, though the nominal yield on RTN is a bit low -- lowest in my PFs, the divvy growth keeps it above the Chowder rule line, it's a very safe divvy and consistent divvy growth -- throw in the cap gains and it's been stellar... both RTN and LMT are great for DGI investors and those looking for cap gains... they are not my best performers in total gains, etc., but they are in the top 10 or so for me for sure -- MMP has been almost twice as good as my #2 in terms of total returns and divvy income -- EPD, KMB, SRE and JNJ (in that order) round out my top 5 in total returns plus divvies (divvies paid plus divvy CAGR)... LMT, RTN and ADP are the next three highest for total return plus divvies...
