When did you become the authority that disallows religion (all religion) to be studied from sociocultural evolutionary standpoint? It is not off topic tinsel toes, it falls under the general science heading of "sociology" . The way societies change over time, so take off the dunce cap. Your first paragraph didn't show any interest in reasoned response, now we have to read another dumb troll response by you filled with punky name calling & your own twisted ignorance. Its inevitable that all societies change & there are extremely valid social theories that have developed to explain socio-evolution, you can start with the philosopher Auguste Comte the father of sociology who coined the term "altruism" and more for one. Along with Hebert Spencer there are a host of anthropologists & archaeologists that have teamed up to do some of the most excellent science in the last two centuries you seem to not have a clue of or just plain blanket hate?
