Only bets I have, in the area of chips and computers, are a couple of hundred calls for AMD 01/2016.

You might get lucky if they get bought by someone, at least assuming they don't crater first, and then get bought for something below the current price.

Unfortunately for AMD, Intel's deals with Rockchip and Spreadtrum, and possibly more to come (I assume they are trying to push Altera to ditch ARM and use x86 too) is devaluing AMD's x86 position significantly IMHO. I'm sure Intel will restrict all these new x86 deals to preclude competition with Intel in the PC space, but they will apply pressure to AMD's x86 at the low end, effectively precluding AMD from ever making any $ in mobile now I would say, while Intel continues to own the high end of PC's, so AMD is squeezed from both sides in x86.

I'm trying to figure out if they are going to warn this Qtr. If so, it will likely come this week, although AMD has in the past warned with only about 1 week till the report. All the more recent projections on PCs for 2014 claim that the market is still going to shrink a few %, despite all the prior hope of XP and corporate refresh. The consumer end of it (i.e. AMD's market) doesn't look very good, and Intel is being more aggressive in the low end of notebooks, because there isn't much in the high end to be had. The Fad is still beating the crap out of the mobile end of PCs.
