How can a belief in future events that one does not control be either the truth or a lie - especially with respect to stocks????

Perhaps, it can be without a factual basis, be an exaggeration, intentional or otherwise, or be pure speculation, but absent some control -- which people at companies have and simple investors don't have -- I don't see how an opinion or belief in the occurance of future events can be either a truth or a lie.

With stocks, many of us are often both right and wrong for the wrong reasons...in the end, all that really matters is whether we made or lost money -- all the rest ends up being nothing more than material for war stories....

Just my 2 cents worth...
