Hi Ox, following is a new article about GTAT that was published on Tuesday,
  seekingalpha.com
In my portfolio the three best money makers for me have been , GTAT, SUME and MU
It amazes me that one or two good picks can overwhelm a dozen other picks that did not pan out.
My portfolio is divided in three categories.
  1) Stocks with lots of upside (GTAT, MU, HPQ, SUNE, INTC and BAC)
  2) Stocks with solid dividends for long term holds. (GSK, ESV, RIG, T, NE, GE) Currently doing poorly.
3)Stocks for short term gains of a few points. (ABX, QLGC, BRKS, JNPR, TSL, CHK, CREE, JDSU )
Amazingly I have no intention of selling any GTAT. because it would create a capital gains situation that I wish to avoid..
Its easy to pick winning stocks, but much more difficult to pick the time frame in which they will prosper. Great stocks and dead money ride on the same bus. |
