It sounds like your criticism is related more to risk-taking with specific companies trying new features than of all Android devices themselves.
It's both.
it's understandable that you have a bad taste in your mouth, but I urge you to give a test run to something like the new Moto X
Motorola again?

Reminds me of when I gave FailT&T a second chance, and only because at the time, iPhone 3GS was exclusive to FailT&T. My experience was not unique. Loved the phone, hated the service.

Verizon costs me an arm (and the iPhone the leg), but I'll gladly pay that price for quality and reliability.
